   I enjoyed this movie, but I probably won’t see it again for the foreseeable future. La La Land feels like an Oscar film that is given such praise, that movies like Moonlight & Hidden Figures won’t be considered in the same conversation. Ryan Gosling & Emma Stone have impeccable chemistry & hold the movie together. Without them, it’s a middling film. The music is good, too, though, the decision to go full-blown drama in the second half was interesting. It’s good, but not the amazing spectacle that some hail it as.
