That salty ass judge who lost re election and released all the defendants who said they wouldn’t murder anyone is the very reason why people need to vote in every election. He had a history of corruption where as defense attorneys could donate to his campaign to get favorable rulings. Yet nothing had been done about it. Obviously black and brow defendants were disproportionately sent to prison over their white counterparts. This guy needed to go and I’m glad they voted his ass out.
Speaking of Green Book, my maternal grandfather is from Mississippi and I remember when I was a kid growing up in the 1980’s in Indiana he had a green book motorist handbook in the glove box and it stayed there until probably the mid 90’s.
