Another week in the books! Thanks again for the birthday wishes! Didn’t really do much (as if I had a choice) but spent some time with my son and spent some time catching up on the new season of black Monday.
Rod & Karen, that feed the children type ad for the premium special was epic! If I wasn’t already premium, that would have sold me lol!
Did you guys hear what idris Elba has to say about suggesting yearly quarantines for about a week or so? Of course people were mad, because when aren’t they mad? I don’t really see it as a bad idea to be honest! If it is a set week where it can be prepared for, I don’t see why it can’t work. Give the environment a break from pollution and it could also be like a free break/vacation for the country or world. But I guess people saw it as oh he rich he can afford to quarantine at anytime. I know some people can’t afford to do so but they really took what he said out of context.
And to any of my premium fam who many be essential workers, especially in the medical field, thank you for your service! It’s funny that was a line we used for the military, now it’s being used by everyone for essential workers!
Check on your family and friends from time to time , especially the elderly!

It’s all athleisure all the time. Can’t remember what jeans feel like. And I TOO be late to work after fukking around with animal crossing all night. I had to get more responsible and get my ass to bed earlier. We have to give daily status updates with what we’re working on by 10 am. Was late a couple times and I don’t want to make that a habit. Can’t be losing this good job during these times man.
That Nigger Beater story is something. It’s amazing what that word can morph into. What it can trigger.

Rod, I just wanted to give you a quick shout out. An episode or two ago, you mention microwaving food at less than “High Power”. I’d never thought about this, but its a small change that’s made a big difference. Gone are the days of me hittin’ that plus one button, over and over again, and zappin’ that shit out of my food for two minutes and waiting eight minutes for it to cool down. I dropped that power to 60-70% for four minutes and its ready to eat right away, moister and more flavorful.
Real quick, I started binge rewatching True Blood in the background while I work from home. I forgot how good these first few seasons were but damn this shit hit a wall at full speed in season 7.
