Here’s the thing, I thought Lady Bird was well-made, well directed, well acted & well….very indie. Also, the movie has some very funny moments (the beginning scene of Lady Bird jumping out of that car was hilarious, my god), but after the credits rolled & I left my viewing of it, the realization hit me, that it wasn’t a film for me & that’s OK. I also had this same feeling with Battle of the Sexes. I am glad you & Sarah enjoyed it, though. There’s a really good movie here, I just couldn’t vibe with it.
