I was shopping at Target this week and noticed that the hand sanitizer was no where to be found, toliet paper was gone, the Honey Pot is completely gone, however, hand soap was readily available…..smdh. So I helped myself to some pink grapefruit foamy hand soap and some refill because it just smells great!

At this point I think Isaiah Washington is trying to get that Candace Owens money. He’s a clown and YNB exposed his ass. No one actually cares what he thinks not even the white folks who ‘s attention he’s trying to get. Sorry to this man.

I can’t afford not to go to work for two weeks. I only got one paid day off left until I get more days in April. I’m sure if I proved I was at the hospital I wouldn’t be penalized BUT they damn sure wouldn’t pay me. Signed paperwork from the doctor that says I was sick ALONE would cost me maybe $50. I can’t have 2 weeks pay missing from my next check. That said, seeing as I come in direct contact with anywhere between 40 to 200 people a week when it’s busy, I wouldn’t let myself go in and knowingly expose all those people. I work in a department store, no less. I’d also be exposing the workers and customers at other stores and my own. It’d be a shit show. Some of my customers are older than my grandparents on top of it. I’ve taken to taking my temperature every morning and disinfecting everything we touch the most as often as I can. I go to the bathroom to wash my hands as much as I possibly can. I also wear a mask every day less to protect from the virus than to calm other people down at this point (we’ve gotten complaints from customers who think we should wear masks just in case.)

I’m in Tokyo where we’ve been seeing people panic shopping, hoarding, and price gouging for about a month solid now. At some businesses, masks have become a requirement to keep anxious customers from making complaints. I haven’t seen anybody’s face at my local grocery store or on the same floor in my department store for weeks. Several coronavirus cases and at least one death have been confirmed on my train line. Every little case makes the news, but we’re like the US in that we’re not being tested as widely as we should be and we have to pay out of pocket for it. Knowing that not even all of the people who were on the Diamond Princess were tested but they were allowed to leave via public transit is NOT HELPING anxiety. Tensions are running HIGH as fuck and I’m tired as hell lol. People being foolish when folks cough on the train and getting punched for masks because of the mask shortage. And the government just made a new policy for us being tested that I think means we pay a small percentage of the cost out of pocket now, but it still comes out to like $54 that I don’t have right now. Plus the at least $50 for a doctor’s note to give my company. That’s before I start thinking about the cost of whatever treatments I would need but can’t pay for cause my ass at the hospital instead of at work. If the officials didn’t think my symptoms were bad enough to warrant testing, I frankly don’t know what I would do. They have a history of not allowing you to submit yourself for testing unless you have a very particular set of severe symptoms. We actually have no clue how many people are ACTUALLY sick with the coronavirus in Japan because of it. And if the doctor won’t see me, how can I get the note that proves to my company I was actually sick and just quarantining myself for two weeks?

I didn’t mean to write that much but I’m STRESSED out here lol

Damn, I just wanted to say I’m sorry to hear all of this. I feel you 100% and $104 is a lot of goddammit money when you don’t have it, especially if you factor in having to be away from work for 2 weeks UNPAID on top of it!
