I already said it but I think this bears repeating for Gregory: bye nigga
Been listening to the show for a few years, but this is the first time I’ve been able to listen to the recaps as the season progresses, rather than binging the recaps after watching the season on Netflix (a nigga grew up and got a tv streaming service). For starters, the new title sequence really is nice! I like the nods to growth and new Life. So far I’m feeling optimistic about the new show runner. I’m guessing it was her idea to back off the coup and go with the more subtle dissolution of alliances I feel is coming. Jesus would have listened to that plan agreed to it, and then immediately went against it like he must have done with the plan to kill all the Saviors last season. And Yo. White people Looove animals. It ain’t no way I’m running up on a spooked quarter horse so I can risk MY Life to cut it loose! I’m with you, Rod, I would’ve had to be hella petty in that sit down with his parents. “No, he didn’t die for a broken plow, he got himself killed tryna save a damn horse after we told him not to!” I’m also wondering, with Carol taking over the failing Sanctuary, will we get the return of Prison Carol??? The Carol that will burn a few people for the betterment of the whole? Snap her fingers and have half the Saviors dusted so the other half can live??? Lastly, a final f*ck you to Gregory. When Maggie stopped short with that knife, I worried she STILL wasn’t going to finish it. When the camera panned up to his bitch ass tied there, my Heart leapt with joy lol. Keep up the great recaps!
The Lord put it on my spirit to chant “Herschel’s daughter ain’t nothin to fuck with!”
*****Stars!
Love this review. I have missed the Rick and Michonne show!
Thanks Rod for the reminder about the Civil War and how the show ties into the theme of this episode.
Darryl does not possess much in the area of inter/intra personal skills.
