    Salutations my NC couzins,

I just wanted to recommend a podcast episode that Rod might enjoy breaking down later. Before you judge me (despite never sending terrible battle rap), it’s only 36 minutes. The Conversation Weekly: Where Support for Germany’s far-right is growing and why.

Stay warm and peace be with ya’ll!

    Greetings negros

First and foremost HAPPY BLACK HISTORY!!!! Hopefully this wont be the last year of saying that as the red hats try to erase history and take away this 100 plus year tradition. Which started as a week then turned into a month. Did you guys know that February was chosen as BHM because of fredrick douglas who birthday was in February and abraham lincoln. So as usual, us blacks cant have anything for ourselves.

Didnt watch the grammys, but i saw that clip of the white girls interviewing babyface and i loved the unbothered attitude of face and that line: “go do that”!

    You guys are awesome!

    Appreciate yall

    Have a black ass weekend

You guys had amazing takes as always this episode. The current administration is trying to drive us crazy with the constant “testing the electric fence” like the raptors in Jurassic Park. They’re trying to see exactly how much they can get away with. They’re aware that some of the turds that they’re throwing against the wall won’t stick, but I’m convinced that the fear and confusion are the POINT of all of this. Testing the fence and at the same time, “Don’t look behind the curtain”. I’m reminding myself to stay on task:stockpile my cash for the SURE TO BE LEAN times ahead, and stay informed on what the Dems are gonna give us in 2 years. Meanwhile, I’m also getting our family’s exit strategy together in case it gets too “Hitler-y” around here. Gathering our docs in triplicate, looking for a remote job, and doing some light “prepper” stuff like getting a victory garden together in my backyard in case we decide to stick it out. I’m also constantly reminding myself that no matter HOW Trump wants me to feel, I’m NOT powerless in this. His constant barrage of bs only fuels my resolve.

    Hey Yall,

Just want to point out that Adam Serwer wrote early in the first Trump administration that he is the guy that wrote the article “The Cruelty Is The Point”. Nice (not nice? horrific?) to see him fully flesh the idea out.
