    Hi everybody,

listening to the way you guys talk about how you played basketball together was like music to my ears. It reminds me of me & my mates who played together for nearly 25 years.

Wouldn’t even need to say anything & could call things on the fly & we knew what to do. It would’ve been fun playing ball with you guys.

I recently watched my mates team play a few games & they trying to get me back in.

    Have a good 1

I was dying during the logic vs ass whooping . Man, that was at home and school for me. I attended military schools for primary education and a Christian school for junior, then public for high school in another city and state. It was the earliest stages that I got beat all the time. Got an answer wrong in mathematics, pow pow… you started thinking twice before raising your hand and got flogged.

By secondary school (Christian evangelical here) was when boys got the switch on their butts (we call it cane, which you brought 10 at the beginning of the semester btw) girls on their palms or backs. Then some evil teachers beat us on the back of our legs because we had on shoulder pads or extra shots or wore longer + thicker tshirts inside our uniforms. If anyone took their flogging without flinching, especially in front of the whole school, everyone started cheering and teachers got mad and started freestyle flogging at all students. We was planning on a revenge beating of a bunch of teachers but I got moved to another city and finished school there. Less beatings by the time I became a senior and held office where I had power to beat juniors (yes, as a prefect you could become power drunk). I tried once at late comers and felt, too much work. Gave them manual labor instead. Held my cane for show and threats, guess I have been a Kang much longer than I thought. I didn’t know the word empathy, I still remember a kid who was late and I raised my cane, he had broken zippers. I stopped and found out that he had no money to fix it, gave him part of mine… what if that kid hustled me? Should have flogged his ass. He got his zipper fixed. Still a suspect!

    Hello all,

First: Karen, thank you for recommending the Dissect podcast. I started with Season 1, Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp a Butterfly,” and I am really enjoying it. I do not feel as if Cole Cuchna, the white, male host is trying to forcefully insert his all knowing opinion on an art form created by Black people and Black culture; rather he is saying, “I love what I am hearing and this is why I love it, and my attempts to understand it better has brought me here.” I hope this remains the tone of the podcast with the analysis being what he likes, not what he does not. I don’t get enjoyment from the “This is why this sucks” content creators.

For anyone not watching Paradise on Hulu, you need to get on it. Sterling K. Brown is BLACTING!

Abbott Elementary continues to slay. The book banning episode was so damn good.

This is probably more The Nerd Off, but man, Daredevil is giving me the Marvel content I need; and my love for Vincent D’Onofrio’s acting continues to pay dividends.
