Meant to include this the other week when you made anime recommendations but thanks for mentioning the Apothecary Diaries. That’s a really good one and you won’t be disappointed.
I now know why Crunchyroll started including ratings because they now have light hentai. There’s a new anime about a girl who turn back time by taking off her underwear and she blackmails this boy into being the one to put them back on for her. Yes it’s as stupid as it sounds but it shows everything. Titties and ass. And I mean titties with nipples and everything. I can’t imagine what some parents would think if they saw their kids watching that. I dropped it because it’s stupid and just unnecessary.
I really find listening to your show uplifting, especially when it comes to politics.
We are brought up on different continents, I am a white lady of Eastern European origin and lived in east Europe until I was 12, when I was a child there still was lots of anti western propaganda, and lots of pro Russian propaganda. I’m a manager in a huge pharmaceutical company in Europe and I have kids. From the outside, there is not a lot in common, besides our age.
So maybe human common sense it really a thing. It’s not something that will trend on social media, my views are hardly ever extreme in any way. In Germany we have a new government, and even if I voted for the Green Party ( here it’s not a grift) I’m happy that the two centrist , non insane parties managed to get together without drama. I’m not shitting on them, I’m glad that we currently are not in chaos. Also good, during their talks nothing leaked.
A boring view, but I like it like that. Good things often look boring at first. Destruction is exciting, but unfortunately also breaks everything.
The new American administration is appropriating the former German culture ( 33-45) all the time and STILL puts tariffs on us.
I’m starting to think they are not great people.
There is better German culture to go to, . Like Pilates. Did you know it’s a German invention and it was created by a man named Joseph Pilates?
But of course they don’t want that, he left Germany because he disliked the Nazis and went to America. Oh, the irony.
