Hope all is well, missed a few weeks but im always locked in. Its just sometimes scheduling conflicts dont allow me to write in.
Been a while since i did this Rod, and we dont normally do it in pre game, but hit me with the ray lewis please……
Did you guys hear that rapper or artist silento. (Karen might say whoo?) of whip/nae nae fame. Was sentence to 30 years in prison for the murder of is cousin in 2021? I guess when you a one hit wonder, there really isnt nothing else to do Sal.
I also wanted to reply to costcos conversation. In new york we are not privileged to have a sams club, its just bjs, and costco. Growing up my mom always went bjs, so thats what i knew. When i got older i just followed suit. It wasnt till recently, when i moved to long island and my wife wanted to try out costco, that we went and i saw its greatness as well. I would say for the proce of membership, (although it has risen lately) it’s definitely worth it. I got for gas, or bulk items. Bjs has their pros and so does costcos. That costco. Pizza is on point. But they also will have items like say a tv or grill for example cheaper than like a target or best buy. There a grill i want and costco got it $100 cheaper than lowes does. Ive been running back them memberships for the past 4 years and go use both. For first time members, you can catch a special price of like $15/20 but normally the membership is like $50.
I got a chance to watch terry perrys new offering straw, with taraji. I thought the movie was cool. It kept reminding me of john Q with denzel washington from back in the day. But of course her comes the negative nancys which had to go on mute. One friend of mine thought taraji deserved an oscar for her performance. While i wont go that far, i thought she did a really good job. I will bring up one comment i saw and ask you guys opinion. Some random person said they can’t fuck with TPs movies because he always showing struggle and strife of a black woman. Where are the successful, happily ever after stories for black women? Now i have not seen every thing that he puts out, But this person came off as a hater of either tyler perry, or just black women.
Lastly i might be late to the party but i just binge watched a show called johnson. It originally came out on bounce tv. But it is available for stream on hulu and it is pretty good. 4 season are up wuick 25 mins episodes of 4 black best friends who grew up together, and now are navigating life in atlanta, together. All 4 of the friends last name is johnson, hence the show title.

Ps happy fathers day to all the fathers
It’s the Paravai-Kaaran here, I was gonna get Justin a shiesty but he ain’t back me up proof that we are truly in the dark times. So I’ve been meaning to bring this up and after Rod mentioned it on Nerd Off and on the mainshow, I wondered where to drop it so came here.
I got two Targets close to me, due to the way one is setup I can’t see what’s going on there without leaving my train station. The other I hadn’t been around due to Alamo strike, now that the strike is over I’ve returned back to my favorite theater for movie watching after a 2 months absence. Every time I’m coming down from Alamo I walk past the Target on the 2nd Floor and I kid you not, if I sent you a video it would look like no boycott was happening. 5 movies in a row now, different times of the day and week. I’ve seen families, singles, and all races shopping there. Makes me want to investigate the other store which is bigger. Lots of traffic to other businesses there so it won’t look weird if I’m Sherlock Holmes there. Paravai-Kaaran Eyewitness reporting out!
