My biggest to this film, besides all of the things you said about the one dimensional villains here, not enough “blue collar” killin’. I mean, I’ve been itching for someone to evoke what the original Equalizer film did in that bad-ass third act in that fake-ass Home Depot. C’mon, Statham, I want to see creative kills with a pick axe, not the same retread gun kills, played to “I’ve been working on the railroad”. You ain’t John Wick or Chow Yun Fat in Hard Boiled, singing to a baby going gunfu on some niggas. I still enjoyed it for what it was, but Statham’s done better work. Passable, just not “good”.
