What’s up Pre Game crew? I just wanted to give a quick shout out/ thank you to Karen. I don’t remember which show it was (might have been the regular show) but you recommended the Unbrush for detangling hair so I bought one. It has been a game changer for brushing my 8 month old son’s hair. We immediately threw away his other combs. Best $15 I’ve spent. Good lookin out *black fist emoji*
Hey Rod, Karen & Justin. I loved how y’all approached the conversation of podcasts that often partake in things like gender wars & anything anti-intellectual. Look, I enjoy trash, but when it’s things that are not their face nonsensical or hackneyed, I eject from the show like John McClane in Die Hard 2. It’s too much stupid & it does make for a lazy, unproductive brain. Haven’t listened to that Cam Newton episode & I don’t plan on it, but what I take from the value of the conversation y’all had, was the existential value there is to having a wise mind. A thoughtful one, at that & that doesn’t seem to be the “in” thing lately or, really, hasn’t been the thing for over 20, 30 or 40 years now, with the destruction of telecommunications. People say they want intellectual thought, but will instantaneously go for the bullshit, because it makes people feel good, rather than thinking about what the meaning or the words. I think about that shit a lot, actually. I don’t want to deliver much deeper into this, as I just admired how great it was to hear that commentary. Great shit. Peace.
