After listening to this episode I was motivated to leave 5 stars on iTunes. Specifically, I was inspired when Karen said – during the discussion of the kids that got the belt for taking too long to eat breakfast – “they should have put sugar on those grits!â€
I know she was talking about how kids generally like sugar but there are some things you don’t grow out of. Anyway, Karen’s validation of people like me (who were BORN this way Rod!) has given me the confidence to put sugar on my grits in public. In fact, all five of those stars are for Karen. Rod gets zero for shaming people like me on Twitter. Thanks Karen!
Now I need to get back to work perfecting a recipe for Pumpkin Spice Grits.

May I share a random thought? I hope this is not in poor taste or morbid, but I have really thought about this.
Do schools allow white, male students to participate in active shooter drills? I wonder if during those drills do other non, white students look at the white boys like, “so y’all just gonna tell them our plan?”
I mean, white, male students are more likely to be the shooters, so do they tell them, “look Colton, this is as far as you can go. The rest of us will proceed to the other safety measures.”

Sigh, but yeah I feel her but I think we’re always gonna be on thin ice with these White Europeans that sterilized our black African sisters that fled to Israel when it became a “safe haven” for Jews. If you were a white Jew that is. A nigga still a nigga. Yeah I get it. You still marginalized but you either with us or against us and that shit in Gaza just doesn’t fly. Yes I see the Muslims live through our parents and grandparents experience. Anyway this always gets me sad and mad so I’ll leave it at that.
