I got Starz added to my tv package because I needed that “P Valley” in my life, then I came across Brightburn while trying to find something new to watch. I LOVED THIS MOVIE. It was so unpredictable. It’s refreshing to see a movie where the “good guy” doesn’t show up to magicaly save the day. I hope we get a sequel but in the meantime I’m going to do some googling to see If this movie is based on comics, this could be an interesting universe to dive into Log in to Reply SANDLERAGONY 05/30/2019 at 3:56 PM A part of me was hoping that Brightburn was better than I pictured it in my head. I was sold with the Superman but evil kid concept with that first trailer. Maybe it’s just me, but I felt the movie could’ve been 5-7 mins longer, cuz once Elizabeth Banks is the last to go, that’s kinda it. Speaking of Banks, why did the writers then turn her into a fucking idiot the whole, protecting this evil ass kid. I get that the creators of this project wanted a dichotomy with the parents, but it was overkill, in my opinion. And how she found out the evil kid’s logo, the payoff was very underwhelming. At least the over-the-top kills by the kid was nice, so I got what I wanted. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
