    Hey Rod Karen and Justin,

I been meaning to write in and say I highly recommend Pause with Sam Jay. I know folks online were big mad about the first episode of that show where they had a bunch of coons on there talking, but I swear I have never laughed so hard as I have watching that show. This new season the first episode was a brilliant take on the intersectionality of Black and Queer and I know Rod would love it for just how nuanced they take it. Like Sam talking about how she doesnt feel like shes a good gay cause the dominating culture of Queerness in America typically revolves around what White gay men deem acceptable. But also being funny as hell.

Another show with Sam Jay in it that yall would enjoy if you have Peacock, is The Bust Down! Now that show is for pure niggas. It stars Sam Jay, and Langston Kerman who was the light skin dude Molly dated on S1 of insecure, and has a podcast my momma told me about Black Conspiracy theories. It just feels like a bunch of Black comedians got on to make pure comedy.

Also Congrats Karen for the new opportunity. We will be supporting whatever it is. And Justin, I also find it weird how folks automatically assume A man and woman who are nice and respectful to each other must be dating, as someone who’s a friendly person to everybody unless you give me a reason not to, I find it weird that folks think just because I befriend someone of the opposite sex it means im trying to fuck. Probably more indicative of society as a whole and how we view cishet relationships if we assume theres no way two folks who are friends can just be that. Friends.

Oh, I love that Rod is getting a chance to push Karen to be fearless in the same way she has pushed him!

Justin, re: Winning Time, I meant about the actress playing Jeanie Buss she has one facial expression. I think she’s trying to “act” like a young college age girl but she just comes across, to me, as stiff and one note.
