I really enjoyed y’all discussion on Wonder Woman’s marketing. Have you noticed the people low key acting like Wonder Woman is a brand new character? Like I would point out those projected numbers look kinda of shitty. And folks will say “Those are about expected for a female lead movie”, “Suicide Squad had a great marketing campaign” or “That’s better than Captain America’s first movie”.
Wonder woman been around for damn near a century, and if not THE most well known fictional female character, top 3. You got grandmas out here teaching grand daughters about the Linda Carter twirl. How can a big company like WB not capitalize on that? It is mind numbing. Speaking of Linda Carter, if there isn’t a cameo, everybody should be fired. Including Rod firing Justin, cause that is how big of a fuck up it would be.
Oh did y’all catch the Black Lightening trailer? Looks damn good, I am really hoping they branch out to more minority heroes like Jakeem Thunder, White Lotus, Josiah Power, and Amazing Man. Amazing Man 2, not the hotep Amazing Man 3.

What’s up Rod, Kriss and Aaron, I’ve been listening to the Nerd Off since October of last year. I found all three of your podcasts separately, but once I found this!? Nigga listen, I needed someone who were riding these rollercoasters we call Arrow and Agents of Shield (Hail Darth Fitz) with me. Noone i knew understood that serious shit was going down every week. But I have a question where do you think the next season of Shield will go? Space opens up so many possibilities with Guardians and Thor dropping later this year. Also can we get Sam L. As the Man on the Wall. Black fury and aliens? Day 1 I’m there. Sorry if this is long but before I forget I will be at Negrocon 2017!

Y’all, I realized that Agents of Shield was something else when I had to start watching it standing up, because constantly jumping off my couch was hurting my knees! Look at Marvel out here shining! Look at all that amazing teamwork and comic booky moments and fantastic writing. What a time to be alive.
Do y’all know if there is a way to give folks comic of Comixology? My nephew is 6 and loves anything I like, so I want to let him read all my Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur comics.
Confession: Until I saw Kriss and Joi tweeting about it a few weeks back, I thought that Wonder Woman came out in July. Um, weren’t the early reviews to Murderman vs Superman positive too? Cuz if the movie is disappointing, I’m putting hand on WB execs for meddling. If the movie is great, I will still express delivery these hands for the lack of marketing. No reason Wonder Woman should be tracking for less than 100 million.
I know you must get tired being right all the damn time, but I really need y’all to take a victory lap. How many people were all up in your mentions that first season of Agents of SHIELD talking about the show is trash? It’s never gonna work? Nigga look at this shit!!! We made it! Went from wondering how they could explain Coulson being alive to just fuck it let’s go full ghost rider. I’m a little nervous about that move to Fridays, but fuck it I stopped doubting Marvel a long time ago.

P.S. as much as we worry about Elon Musk as the supervillain, Mark Zuckerberg is the one that worries me. Also, Danny Rand’ s rich white privilege was hilarious. Most said line “Hope you know what you doing, Danny.” The Defenders trailer was hilarious especially Luke Cage’s reaction to Danny was funny AF.
