Dear Brother Rod and Sister Karen,

You quickly mentioned this on this episode, but Megan Kelly is going to get $15 Million to do a show on NBC? Bruh!!! That White Privilege must be so good!…and profitable. And to think Tamron Hall can’t get any love. That shit is crazy.

First things first, I was doing some research on NoJulz’s IG and she looks like a Great Value version of Amber Rose. Girl Bye! Also re: Emma Roberts and Evan Peters in White People News, they also had a bit of a Chris Brown/Rihanna situation a few years back that “surprisingly” no one talks about. They (media) just make it seem like they’re just America’s on again/off again sweethearts. I have a theory on white people giving high ratings to “Get Out” and similar titles that seem too woke for their suspiciously high ratings. One: all the antagonists were characatures of subtle racism. The heinous and twisted intentions of the white antagonists allowed white viewers to cope with the mirror being held up to them because they could say, “Well I’ll never be as evil as these weirdos.” The other thought is that the plot is fictional and gives white viewers an extra measure of distance from the offenses seen on the screen, kind of like Karen was saying. Finally, telling people that you saw this movie and weren’t offended as a white person is pretty damn similar to saying you would have voted for Obama again. Any opportunity to seem less racist is like white people gold. I think black people watched this movie and felt like Chris’s experience was terrifying even without the twist involving the body-stealing that was going on. On the other hand, white viewers wouldn’t have felt as comfortable damning the white characters without that twist added to the movie. I think this was clever work on Jordan Peele’s part, who sort of has a foot in both worlds. Not enough to end racism, but impressive that he could get white audiences to empathize over microaggressions by looping them together with much more unthinkable offenses. To Rod’s credit, as indicated by these ridiculous Kendrick Lamar covers, many white people didn’t get the point.

    * 4.5 stars because you misspoke Ashley Graham’s name ( not Ashley Brown)(my cousin’s name).
Loved Chris Lambert on this episode! Miley is just like anyone else who appropriates from our culture.

Good for Miley. She’s following in the footsteps of Elvis etc. She should have stayed with the formula that works for her like Taylor does. Even when Swift appropriated black culture, she did it with her usual white filter so no one really noticed.
