Shouts out to the homie Jeremy for finding our exchange in September where I swore the Browns would feast on empty calorie teams (including Amani’s Niners) and get a wild card spot, only for them to collapse in the most Browns way possible. It’s fitting that last season (7-8-1) was their best record this decade; oh yeah, they are the only team in the league to not have a winning season. I think my favorite year was 2013 when they had 6 pro bowlers and 4 wins. Well, at least this decade didn’t have the Browns blowing a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl. Now that would suck.
So is Tom Coughlin what happens when one of the people who hates the players gets to be a GM? How bad you gotta fuck up as an organization to get dog walked by the NFLPA and have them send out a letter telling free agents not to come to your team? Between that and proudly sticking with Blake Bortles instead of signing Kaep, is Coughlin the worst GM in recent memory?
