A Free Comedy Talk Show With the Motto - Nothing's Wrong If It's Funny

LSG 44: The Christian Rap Of Alcoholism

Karen and Rod are back to give you something to smack your lips to. In today’s Spicy News we discuss Taco Bell hit and run, Reese’s Ultimate Peanutbutter cups, Panda express lawsuit, Uber buys Drizly, Chick-Fil-A sauces in stores, bars without booze, Real Water having some problems, Old Bay hot sauce, Travis Scott McDonald’s deal, and a prosecutor delivering DoorDash on the clock. In our Meals Of The Week segment we talk about two vastly different experiences at Brasas And Son vs What The Fries. Rod’s Cook Dat Nigga segment is all about Asian Lettuce Wraps. We didn’t get any feedsmack this time but we’re always on the lookout for your questions and comments.

We’ll be serving another helping soon! Thank you for listening.

    Hi Karen and Rod,

Sorry I haven’t sent much feedsmack, but I adore Lip Smacking Good so I had to write in! I love how you pivoted the show to your take out and delivery experiences, and always great to hear the ongoing Chef Rod “Cook that Ninja” segments — hey, I’m white, I’m sticking with the Andy Kline terminology!!

I’ve only been down to your area for the live show in 2018 (SO much fun!), but I’m making a list of places I need to visit next time I’m in town!

Thanks so much for all you do. In the words of Chef Gregorio and Chef Travis, “Life is too short for bad food and bad drinks!” So live it up!

    All the best,
    Tanya (TanyaW42)

Hey Karen and Rod! Just listened to this show and wanted to show y’all some love with some feedsmack! We’ve tried the Reese’s Ultimate Peanut Butter Cups with all peanut butter and it’s pretty good! It’s Reese’s so they’ve got the magic formula and there’s nothing that they have that I won’t try once. I also tried their Mallow Top Cups, Peanut Butter Lovers and Chocolate Lovers; would recommend any of them.
It’s too bad about poor food delivery service (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.) I’m lucky enough to live in a smallish town (population 341K). Carry out options are plentiful and reasonable distances to drive. That’s what I’ve done throughout the pandemic besides cooking much more at home; besides an opportunity to leave the house since there’s nothing to do and nowhere to go, the purchase and tip money goes directly to the restaurant instead of added fees for using a service. I get my second shot in another week and carry out will continue to be just fine for me for awhile. Our state’s mask mandate ends in a couple of days and I don’t need to be breathing the same air as the folks I KNOW weren’t taking ANY precautions. Anyway, thanks for the show, we’re always listening!
