I walked away from G.I Joe Origins mildly impressed. Nice action, decent acting & direction. It didn’t reinvent the action genre, but I was entertained by it. I never watched a G.I Joe movie, so had no idea what I was expecting with this iteration after the ones that came out before this one. Need to catch up on Andrew Koji’s work after watching this. He really impressed me here. Samara Weaving, per usual, does a good job, as well.
