I hope all is well. That first episode of Game Theory had me yelling at my screen in laughter as y’all fried and refried Duke. In fact, I’d never noticed til y’all pointed it out that Coach K’s hair is somehow undefeated against time itself and remained darker than the shadow his legacy casts on our favorite college basketball teams. I ain’t even a college basketball fan like that but when I was a kid someone said Duke is just Notre Dame but secular and southern, and that was all I needed to hear. I’m looking forward to seeing more episodes and congrats again to you Rod. And shouts out to Bomani, cuz it has been so dope seeing his journey from Bomani & Jones on SB Nation (that’s when I heard of Bo) to seeing dude on HBO. I couldn’t be happier for him, for Rod or anyone else involved in the show.
Conversely, as high up as y’all are, nobody will ever be as down bad as Baker Mayfield. I get why Baker has fans; he has all the counting stats and wins that folks use to define success. He’s the first Browns QB to win a playoff game since 99 and the only to beat the Steelers in doing so. Baker’s stats look nice. And I know thinking about those accomplishments are at a level that Baker’s fans can handle (absolute fucking shade, how dare these fucking people act like Rudy McHoosier is being disrespected by the Browns).
I’m not saying Baker is as bad as Tim Tebow, but not since Tim Tebow have I seen this many white people gassed up to defend a sorry white QB for *checks notes*, ah, being replaced for being sorry. Why do white people get indignant about saying that a sorry white athlete is sorry? Westside of Cleveland gotta be beside themselves right now.
Shouts out to former Browns player Duke Johnson for not forgetting that time Baker said Johnson was either “on this train or not”. Also, I am so glad the Browns didn’t sign Deshaun Watson cuz…just no. As fans, I was looking at Browns fans sideways that after years of hating Big Ben the Browns needed to trade for basically the new Big Ben? I don’t expect much outta people and I know folks draw their lines where they draw them, but signing Watson legit didn’t sit well with me.

First I want to say congrats to Rod and Bo on the first episode of Game Theory. I knew it was going to be good but yall came out with the Duke piece and the Stephen A Smith interview. Stephen A had them bars. Now I do wonder if who ever he was talking about and that he told them he didn’t like they “bitch ass either” if he had his bodyguard around. Also it looks like Deshaun Watson won’t face charges which was a Longshot anyways. But niggas couldn’t wait to come out and act like it proved this nigga wasn’t guilty. It’s always baffling that these be the same niggas when cops aren’t charged for killing a black person they never say that the cop was innocent. It’s also crazy to me how the media has completely just acted like this nigga missed a season because he was injured or having a contract dispute and not because he was out here being Cosby Jr. Also it looks like even the Browns tried to get Watson or at least inquired. Which had Baker Mayfield in his feelings that he requested a trade and the Browns denied his request. I feel like Baker acts like Aaron Rodgers if he was a mediocre QB. And then there is the BG stuck in Russia. That shit is wild and I Just hope some how some way she able to come home. But love the show as always.

It’s kind of wild that he has been this great for the entirety of his career, but despite all that greatness, the effort his team has been putting out has been rough to watch. Yesterday I watched The Raptors get out to a 30-6 start against the Lakers and I started watching the game within the game — LeBron’s body language as everyone else committed errors and blunders. I hope someone out there in Lakers-land creates the supercut of LeBron’s reactions because I know he had to be furious just watching his team. Scottie Barnes was trying so hard against LeBron in the post and LeBron did look kind of checked out. Before I get too long winded here, I’d like to hear thoughts on how the Lakers even try to recover for next season post-Westbrook.
Congrats on the successful launch of “Game Theory” and as someone who shares a name with that institution that Coach K has terrorized everyone with for 40+ years, I completely understand the hate. That segment had me thinking about going by my middle name for college basketball related discussions, but I decided against it because fuck Coach K and his never ending supply of hair dye. In March Madness news, have you guys seen the student fight between Bryant & Wagner university. They had a dude on Wagners squad acting a fool! While dropping buckets on the visiting, underdog squad. Guy was doing push ups & other hilarious gyrations. Dude carried on so much, while having a 30 point lead. The coach had to yell at him for having too much fun. The coach may have saved dude from getting slugged. In the end, once I saw the scene on ESPN, it may me think of the new segment on fighting.
In the end, I love what you guys do. Can’t believe it’s been almost 8 years of premium content.

Yo Rod, I know you saw those Tar Heels go into that lil high school gym in Durham and beat that old man in his last game there! It was beautiful wasn’t it?!?!?! I loved every minute of it, and couldn’t have written it any better myself. Seeing all those nerds crying in their costumes and face paint was the highlight of my weekend.
