Incredible, incredible film. Past Lives is a love story that’s not really a love story but a film above two people in “what could’ve been” land. Greta Lee & Teo Yoo are a fantastic pair. Also, John Magaro is good as the lone White Dude looking on.

I saw this movie in the theater, and I enjoyed it very much. It was such a quiet but emotional film. It did such a great job of making me feel conflicted about which relationship to support. Both her childhood sweetheart and her husband were relationships with merit. I actually cried a bit at the end of the movie with Nora. It reminded me of something my therapist taught me. You have to grieve the future you planned for yourself in order to live contentedly in the present.
