Unlike when Ray Lewis had to tell Sal, there’s plenty to do without football: Blackjack, roulette, prop betting and poker. Probably a lotta poker at Areans Poker Club, which allegedly was operating outta rented California mansion and involved an Israeli mobster? Wildest part to me is that when raided back in 2022, Arenas denied being involved in any of the gambling…and then filed paperwork to reclaim that same money a year later.
I’m penciling in the Lakers to win the West this upcoming season cuz Luka got them revenge abs and he definitely seems like he’s a on a mission to drop 300 points on the Mavs next season. Hell even if the Lakers don’t win West, this should be fun. What do y’all expect to be different about Luka’s game since he appears to be getting in-shape on his own time?
Daryl Morey saying multiple NBA execs told him they didn’t thing the 2020 NBA Championship really counted for shit is akin to firing a cannon from the basement of a glass house. Nigga, build a team that can make the Eastern Conference Finals before the heat death of the universe.

Not much sports happening but that shouldn’t stop this “sports” show. So Rod and Karen, you know I root for the Hornets after my Lakers, and LaMelo is from LA so I cheer for him. But what in the hell is that tattoo? Is he too silly? Which leads me to my question is he an Unserious All-Star? I thought of some others I’d put on there… Nick Young, Lance Stephenson…I was thinking Gilbert but he kind of gets in real trouble. (Again.). Who might be the GOAT?
Anyway, I’m injured and have been doing my rehab at a kind of famous sports rehab place – Cam’s jersey is up there, and a bunch of other pros. It’s also the place Big Baby did his insurance fraud. Anyway, I go in early morning with the other olds, but as I’m leaving, the athletes start trickling in to get treatment…and so do the IG models. One technician said these women aren’t even injured. Ha. These women know the game! And today my trainer said Steven MF A has been in here the past couple days getting in work. He comes in around noon — I’m tempted to switch my time so I can see him. It would be an honor to have him dismiss me with a “Shut up, Mary.” Anyway, I’ll report from the field if I see anything good.

Yo, is this thing on? Can y’all hear me out there?? What up, niggas! I sent y’all an email about the Hornets a few weeks ago, but you never read it on the show. Was it because in that same email I said LeBron is my man, but I have him as the second best player of all time and that the Lakers should start building around Luka? I guess that kind of talk is frowned upon ’round these parts, huh? LOL!
Anyway, that one is old news now, and since then the Hornets have won the Summer League Championship. As a fairly new Hornets fan (It’s been a few years) it’s great to see them starting to change the culture there in Charlotte. I like what I’ve seen from them since the Draft. Hopefully the good vibes from winning in Vegas will continue into training camp and into the season. Hopefully I can get out there this year to check out a game. Moms has become a huge Luka fan since he was traded, so if we can make it happen it would be dope to go see them play the Lakers when they come to town. If that does happen I’ll holla at y’all and maybe we can link up while I’m there.
