I keep seeing that video of the influencers who were eating when the car crashes in the restaurant and I wonder if they still got a bill for the food.
I have not been in a restaurant when a car hit it, but I was in a restaurant that was hit by two tornadoes within half an hour of me leaving…
While I’ve never been in a building a car has crashed into while I was in it. I’ve had the misfortune being on a bus while a car ran into it, I happened to be on the phone that morning with my girlfriend at the time. It was typical morning rush hour traffic here in Pittsburgh, the bus had the light but was in the middle of the intersection and I could see this car not slowing down. I had the presence of mind to say out loud, “I got to go this car is going to run into this bus.” So that all of us could brace for the impact. Driver was fine, car was totaled, and I had to walk the rest of the way to work, so now I was late.

The last time I was called for jury duty, I went in ready to jury nullify someone out of a bogus drug charge. Instead I ended up on a sex trafficking case, and the defendant was SO GUILTY. Damn. But it did really change my perspective on jury duty, I don’t feel that it’s a drag any more, I’m willing to do my civic duty.
Also, when you covered the Jamie Lee Curtis boobs story, I remembered that back around when the NC-17 rating was first rolled out, there was a satirical article somewhere proposing additional ratings. One of them was JLC-N, which stood for “Jamie Lee Curtis appears Naked”. LOL!
I just wanted to point out that the GOP in California already launched a lawsuit against Newsome plans. Exactly what I said last week.
I was looking at my garden when you read the first Guess The Race story, I was like it can’t be before the true reason for the murder dropped.
