    Hello fellow nerds!

I want to do my due diligence as a fan and recommend the book series Dungeon Crawler Carl to your audience, if I can. There are 7 out of the proposed 10 books out now, and it was just optioned for a TV show by the people who did Cowboy Bebop and the Seth Rogan TMNT.

The story is about a man and his ex girlfriend’s cat that are forced to descend into stairwells that pop up all over earth, moments after every building in sight was vaporized. They enter into a world of leveling up, inventories, cursed items and an AI with a particular fetish.

This book is like Hunger Games, Dungeons and Dragons, Vox Machina and Star Wars combined. The voice author who does the audible is killing it – the way he juggles so many different voices is incredible. It’s funny, exciting, well written, full of character development- I’m on my 4th re-listen of the series in a years time.

There’s also a WEBTOON following the series but it doesn’t come out fast enough!

So yeah, that’s what I’ve been reading!

    Newsy
