As a non-fan, everything I know about football is through osmosis, but I find it interesting that Mike Tomlin has lasted as long as he has in Pittsburgh, and the drumbeats for his being replaced becoming the loudest just happen to be the year that they sign Aaron Rodgers to be the quarterback. If a man who’s survived damned near everything loses his job over that ignorant shitgibbon, all I can do is shake my head.
On a completely different note, Rod, I was wondering if you had ever listened to Katie Nolan’s show Casuals? It’s something I started listening to to fill the void in my sports podcast consumption after I dropped LeBatard’s show. It has the same sort of “fuck athletics” vibe as y’all’s show, except it’s a lot whiter. It’s actually kind of like what if y’all did White People News for a whole hour, but all the stories were sports-related.
Also, I guess that “Fuck Chris Paul” unity bump was only good for one game, wasn’t it?
