We started shopping at Aldi since they remodeled the store up the street from us, because why pay more money elsewhere? And yes, I purchased two of their large bags and a smaller bag and we keep in them in our cars at all times. We also shop at Kroger where they have plastic bags and it’s convenient to throw all those little bags into the big Aldi bag to carry in the house.
One thing though, our Aldi has a new cashier who is doing the most when it comes to scanning the groceries quickly; he’s flinging my s*** willy-nilly into the cart and missing my Aldi bag entirely, like he ain’t go no sense! Why do you think I put my bag in there? I gave him a withering look the last time he did that and took my sweet time gathering my groceries and placing them properly in my bag. He gets a wide berth if I see him working.
All the stores in my township stopped using plastic bags a few years ago and you either have to bring your own bag, buy a bag for ten cents or buy one of the stores reusable bags for anywhere between 99 cents and to 5 bucks. I have a mountain of those reusable bags in my house and I still forget to take them to the store.
That one gender war with the couple arguing over the dude not filling her gas tank irritated me. It felt so real because I know so many women are putting up with bums like that that for the sake of not being alone. I would rather be alone honestly.
I got about 5011 Aldi reusable grocery bags & since I stopped buying the paper bags, using the reusable ones is very versatile. I put just about everything in there, besides water jugs. It even comes in handle when preparing for recycling cans, papers, etc. I don’t know why I didn’t start earlier, but it’s kept me honest.
I use my own grocery bags, but I leave them at home a lot, so I end up buying more.
I voted yes in the poll because that is all I do is carry those grocery bags. I get bags from 5K’s, comicons and I will happily use them. Publix has alot of cute bags as she got me a few Star Wars bags when her Publix had them on sale. Now when I have meats, seafood and veggies that were just watered, yes, they go into a plastic bag, but other than that, yes, the grocery world will see my pop culture game!
I really thought that this episode would be titled “Just Pump the Gas” I was only listening and I was almost ready to come pump the gas for that couple. So good!
