(I love y’all bc my first comment deleted before I could hit post!) Columbia resident here. Rick Chow is a racist who purposely put his businesses amongst the people he deplores. One problem is that SC laws don’t have subtleties or degrees for levels of murder. Do I think Chow plotted and schemed to kill Cyrus Cormack Belton? No. But, this is where 2nd degree murder or manslaughter charges might have applied. The judge also would not allow the prosecution to show video evidence of similar incidents between Chow and other customers in his store. I believe there were at least 3. Our Sheriff is so frustrated bc his department did their part in building this case and securing evidence. As you may know, we had a war zone Wednesday night in one of our neighborhoods where a group of maybe 10 teens/young adults decided to go shoot up a house or 2, then try to outflank and shoot up our deputies. If you get a chance to see the pictures of some of the houses, you’d know it’s a miracle that none of those residents were shot or killed. One of the alleged group members was killed and he had just graduated high school 2 weeks ago. Last year, we had kids playing around with fake money. This year, they’re wearing those Pooh Sheisty face masks. This kid had a mask, but its always the possibility that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and had that mask with him. So, we’re having a time in Columbia. Anywho, keep up the great work and much love to you and Queen Karen.
Kevin Hart is such a coon. I didn’t even watch that roast on Netflix but I did see the Kat Williams segment and he let Kevin have it. I heard about the racist jokes and I get that Kevin was at work so it’s not like he could go punch that Tony guy in the face, however the cooning part was how he did cartwheels to defend that guy on a black platform. The need for white validation must be a hell of a drug because it cant be the money at this point. He’s already a wealthy guy.
There must be also some toxic masculinity involved. To show that something is hurtful is uncool in this context , but to say something would be admitting to have feelings and this is obviously the worst a man of this group can admit.
A conservative comedian is an interesting expression, especially when it is a rude white man who doesn’t live a life in any way that reads conservative. Conservative should conserve something, like values of some kind, but what values are that here? Besides the patriarchy and racism I see nothing and I don’t care for either of them, just that you know.
