Hello Rod, K2-Killa & Jay-Lon Bunsen!
Here’s to a the remaining year of N.Y., & all its glory. Full of Timberlands, box wine, & the right for KAT to talk his stuff. Until MARS (The Jordan brand ambassador) finally let go of the rim! Until giant rats stop jumping on people in that smelly tube called a subway!
Just… thank you for another season of hilarious, gut busting, almost crying, NSFW discord on NBA. I’ll always remain a fan. Notice no NBA players talking sidewayss on The First Lady, Michelle. Unlike some low ranked UFC dork.
I swear, if Bruce Lee didn’t immigrate to the U.S., would UFC even be a thing? Overall, enjoy the upcoming (Juneteenth) holiday & maybe the Sports leagues can enforce asking non-black athletes on the importance of this holiday. You know what, never mind! What was I thinking???
Thanks again,
Runnin76
What it do Rod, Karen and Jan Francisco Pitchers,
I hope all is well.
Congrats to the New York Knicks on winning the NBA Championship and I hope every single Knicks fan has a goddamn festival celebrating. Especially since they’re one of the few fanbases where even narrowest sliver of light was enough for them to swear it was their year. They did it at the height of Melo and they did it during Linsanity. And they might be one of the few fanbases where their ball knowledge and love of their team is so integral to their fanbase. Y’all see Monica McNutt reacting as the final seconds counted down? That was so dope. What stood out to y’all during the Finals?
And for the Spurs? I look forward to seeing how Wemby grows from this. Not shaking hands after the game ain’t a problem to me. Honestly, Spurs biggest problems look their coach and DeAaron Fox. Fox wasn’t the sole reason the Spurs lost but he stunk the loudest and dankest at some terrible moments. You hate to see it, but lord help us after Wemby comes back from training with Darth Vader this off season.
And to the San Francisco Giants pitchers that wrote bible verses on their hats to protest Pride Night? I sincerely hope they all need Tommy John’s surgery before the season is over. Hateful bastards.
I hope y’all have a wonderful weekend, Happy Juneteenth and thanks for the dope shows throughout the week.
Peace,
Dough
How’s it going everybody
The Storm haven’t been winning much, but I’m glad the Golden State Valkyrie are tightasses & traded Flau’jae Johnson to us over $40k. Her, Malonga & Awa Fam are a decent young core to build on & hopefully Ezi comes back soon.
Also, I’m not a big soccer/football guy, but I do keep up with the World Cup when they come around.
So it was fun seeing the Socceroos get a 2-0 win as underdogs vs Türkey.
The Aussie fans had a bit of fun singing in the streets of Vancouver after the game & had a bit of a dig at the next open which is the US team.
I added a link to the Aussies singing
Cheers

I told you. What did I tell you? Didn’t I tell you? ’cause I told you. MHMMMM. AND when did I tell you? a long time ago and what did I say when I told you? Exactly what just happened…
I just wanted to revisit my comment before the finals began… I think the Knicks could win this. Heck, if they hadn’t been cursed by loserdom when that huge loser arsehole came to the stadium in game 3, they may have even finished sooner.
That being said, that game 4 was amazing!
Now I’ll go back to paying only enough attention to the World Cup that I can pretend I know what I’m talking about with my students. I’m hoping Haiti can redeem themselves after that early loss.
Good brotha Rod, Good sista Karen, and that God damn devil, Jemby Wembanyama!
Ok, salutations nonsense over. I have immense respect for how Wemby’s handled this significant moment in his life, as people turn on him left & right, because he’s a doggett sociopath that cares about winning. If he & Spurs do a few things differently & a couple of bounces go differently, who knows. No question, these baby Spurs blew more leads than Trump poorly managed business (not to mention, Mitch Johnson’s coaching malpractice throughout the series) but they have a lot to be proud of in a short amount of time & I just hope they stay the course in a very busy Western Conference. De’Aaron Fox might need to go with that ass bad contract.
And the Knicks? God damn, I can’t help but be proud of how they navigated these playoffs. And the funny thing is, one of the worst components of these Knickerbockers, was handling adversity down 1 point (0-2 against the Hawks in that scenario). Once they went belt-to-ass like Robin Harris to Kid in House Party, they even figured that out, too. Good thing they handled business in Game 5, because, like you, Rod, I was a lil’ worried that those good NY vibes would be all for naught because of DJT being at Game 3.
Great season, great playoffs. Actually looking forward to checking out the WNBA with the NBA being over.
Take it easy, folks.
Hi Rod, Karen, and Je’Aaron Fox,
I really hoped Vic and those Kids would pull it off but they just weren’t ready. There was a crazy stat that the Spurs led for 72% of the series…only to lose in five games. If you were doing the Blame Pie — How much would you give these reasons for the Spurs losing (not sure I got everything)? Inexperience, Fatigue, Coach Mitch Johnson, De’Aaron Fox, Match-Up. I think they have the core roster and fully believe they will be back. Thanks for the great coverage! Mary
