. Agreed-Best choreography hands down. Counter after counter and no pulled punches. The bald dude jumped on the dildo to recharge in Everything Everywhere All at Once. He’s like the new school Sammo Hung. Funny, agile and powerful. The tall dude is an homage to the baddy from Drunken Master. Some have hands, he has legs, and wears a suit. The kids escaping down the blankets is another nod to Hard Boiled where Chow Yun Fat’s character rescues a nursery of newborns from a burning hospital through a window. Intense stuff. The martial arts movie nerd in me was on overload. One issue-showtimes are scarce here in NYC so I’m glad I checked it out. Great review. Stay cool.

Ok, yes, the story/plot of The Furious is more awful than salted licorice but dynamic choreography is second to none. Fast, tight & damn near perfect but because it’s coming after the classics that are The Raid film & even the last two John Wicks, this is just very good feature with effortless direction in that department. If the dubbing & even the subject matter wasn’t just another derivative plot about sex trafficking? Definitely in the discussion for year’s best, but it falls short in that department. I will say this, Tom Cruise betta learn to run barefoot because my man, Xie Miao definitely changed the game. Doubt Cruise DAWG survives getting hit by a truck. Buddy got more lives than an Energizer battery.
