I know he’s a horrible person but I find Aegon so entertaining. I look forward to his scenes with Larys the most. At this point everyone on this show is kinda horrible so I guess I’ll root for the ones who make me laugh the most.
Alicent ain’t shit. She doesn’t give a damn about any of her kids. I think she only keeps Helena around to have someone to talk to or else she would be alone. I used to think it was because she was the only girl and Alicent felt empathy toward her daughter as a fellow woman but look at how fast she was willing to leave her granddaughter behind. She was like fuck that kid I’m out.
Say what you will about Cersei. She was evil but she loved her children. Can’t say the same for Alicent.
Just a small point, but the people sent a pigeon, not a raven, to Ormund… perhaps that is why there was no record of the correspondence. The Maesters use ravens, and the anti-intellectual sexist incel Ormund decided to use pigeons to get around them. That’s how he keeps his messages safe from arrows and unread by Maesters.
Excellent catch on Daeron winning the chess game with a dragon piece, Karen. And Rod, the way I started laughing when you turned on the Ether beat when Larys read Aegon the Crispy for filth? Larys hit that bastard with something made his soul burn slow (as opposed to his already flash fried face).
I have long appreciated how much y’all enjoy the show and how that comes across in y’all episode reviews; part of that for me is cuz y’all *ain’t* read the books and I think that makes y’all reviews always come from “this shit is supposed to be enjoyable” and even more accessible, like more like a journey and less like a tour, if that makes sense.
I voted Daeron in the poll cuz Alicent sent him away as a baby and thus spared him from being raised around his god awful brothers and herself, cuz even she knows something ain’t right with any of her kids.

Aemond is one hell of a swordsman! He was injured and still came through like Kobe in the clutch. Them dudes were at Harrenhal acting like Aaron Hall. But now Alys Rivers don’t have to be afraid.
Criston Cole be in his emotions like a version of Drake that’s fully Caucasian, but I forgot that he’s truly a forced to be reckoned with sometimes. I halfway expect him to pop up with a ghillie suit. I don’t know what his fate will be, but he’s taking a bunch of fools out before it’s his turn to go.
Those Gold Cloaks at the end looked like this pissed off Jason Todd, the Red Hood. They better pay that man his cut if they wanna operate because they can’t keep getting disemboweled like that every night. Had them looking like the Last Supper picture.
