I really enjoyed this episode. Hearing about Skylar’s experience as a black adoptee by white parents was insightful. I often wonder about the lives of transracial adoptees and sometimes I feel bad for those kids because I know some of them are gonna be coons when they grow up and it’s not even their fault, some will walk away with a lot of trauma and some come out all right. I do believe that some white parents do put forth an effort for their black children but my heart goes out to the ones who don’t. Did you know Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett adopted two black children. I really hope those kids are safe but knowing her views, I doubt it.
Unfortunately not all black adoptees with white parents have the luck of being adopted by the greatest white adoptive parents ever, Jack and Rebecca Pearson.
Coming back strong after that forced vacation! Excellent show and Skylar was a great guest!
That being said, I gotta give it to Mormons for their craziness in inventing “jump humping”, sorry butt stuff don’t count Christians, the Mormons have you beat!
