Sadly, my TikTok fyp has ALL of the takes on DaBabys restaurant. I saw an interview where he said that it’s elevated, so if they want a low cost experience they should go to Waffle House. Which is WILD because I saw a post with picnic tables outside and those red/chrome diner chairs inside. I love an elevated experience. But picnic tables outside and red/chrome seating inside isn’t elevated. But, who am I kidding?! I’m fauxcotting, because there is a less than zero chance that I’ll be in charlotte to go to his restaurant with his tacky decor. I don’t like the way he was moving with Meg after they had their falling out. So, I can SAY that I wasn’t going because of the decor and pricing, but truth is, I’m not putting money in the hand of a man that treated a Black woman like she’s disposable.
