At the beginning of the article about the wheel of fortune guy I was kinda feeling sorry for him. What if he was feeling suicidal because he had pedo tendencies? This is designed to create discourse, not the Woke v Sleepers battle royale that it tends to become nowadays.
Society needs more physical third spaces – parks, open courtyards, libraries, low-price coffee shops – for actual discourse rather than trying to use virtual spaces. Text, especially, often loses the nuance of discourse when it is limited to shorter and shorter interactions.
Y’all are good at providing context and clarity of statement, social media algorithms seem intent on stripping as much context and clarity as possible. I miss the good ol’ days of real life interaction. Now I feel old.

Pat Sajak with his MAGA a**; he was always asking the contestants “Are you married?”, which was irritating enough, and then would splutter if the contestant was gay and talk about their same-sex marriage and children; he couldn’t exit that conversation fast enough!
