    Hi Rod and Karen,

I am going to put my own twist on one of In Living Color’s best running sketches. I am “Woman on Film” —LOVED IT! Two snaps up.

I really hope this film finds an audience. It was simply fantastic. Hearing you and Karen rave about the 3D presentation of the film, I am going to see if Forgotten Island is still playing in my local theater, and if there is an offering in 3D. This film is well worth the price of readmission.

Y’all, it is a shame that a great film like this will be forgotten & these same “we need original ideas” ass niggas will be the first ones to say, why didn’t y’all see this movie, when you didn’t leave your phone alone and simply go to the theater to see it, giving Filipinos something for their culture.

And I didn’t get all the culture in it, but man, this joint was fun, nonetheless. I wanna get a shout-out to Liza Soberano, who was great her as Raissa. A lot will be talked about with H.E.R & Dave Franco’s (who’s high-key a solid voice actor, btw) and they do deserve such praise, but as someone who hasn’t really followed Liza that long, she’s really good at conveying a wide range of emotions, especially the sad ones. If you haven’t checked out Lisa Frankenstein l, starring Kathryn Newton, I recommend that, as she nearly steals that film from Kathryn, imo. She’s great here & deserves more American roles & it’s a shame that this one won’t be among Dreamworks (Universal) successful films. I don’t see a situation where this’ll get the Elemental treatment & leg it out to roughly $500M worldwide, but flops do become cult classics, at some point, so hopefully it’ll find an audience because it deserves better.

It’s a simple tale of why we should value friendship & with social media being the crock of shit device that it is, this couldn’t have come at a better time.

Saw this right before Primetime, this past Thursday night (Bob Pattinson’s new flick about Chris Hansen & How To Catch A Predator – It’s Great, but it’s NOT subtle, lol).

Anyway, like y’all, highly recommend it & it’s the best animated feature of 2026, so far.
