About Kyle Norman – that interview was little too heavy for Steve Harvey’s goofy show. Rod, I would agree that the gut reaction is once a wife beater, always a wife beater. Like I’ve said in the past, my cousin died when her ex husband shot her.
But, I also know times when people do decide to work out their issues. They’re few and far between, but its not impossible. Also, I’m personally really big on forgiveness, but that’s just me.
My bigger issue is that Norman and his wife went on Steve Harvey. I just have a problem with going on TV and looking for redemption for a cynical public. My question is the same as yours, did you sit down with your pastor, a psychiatrist or a clinical social worker?
But to Karen’s point, most dudes I’ve met and talked about being abusive to their mates or cheating admit in one way or another, they were in pain and try to save in destructive and self destructive manners. Most men never learned to talk about their pain in any other way than their fists, intoxication or raising their voices.
If they’re still prosecuting Nazi war criminals who are 90+ years old and looking frail like old people do, then Cosby gon’ get this prosecution. The FOH with this shit about him being too old to face the consequences of his actions.
