This movie had no business being as good as it was for a variety of reasons, yet, it’s one of 2018’s best, so far. The tension, acting, atmosphere, story & pace is what makes this film a compelling watch. My MVP of this film, is Millificent Simmons, who is deaf in real-life & does an amazing job in this role. Emily Blunt & John Krasinski brought it strong, too. The scale of the monsters are terrifying & the use of sound as a ‘character’ also helped. Reagan was a great co-host for this episode of spoiler movie reviews. I loved how hyped she was for it & how she broke down the film’s various moments.
