Hi Karen and Rod,
This is long overdue. I must thank you for providing accurate information about the pandemic. I’m an outpatient nurse and we have stayed open the entire ponderosa. At first I was hesitant about getting the vaccine but then a patient who was COVID + took her mask down and coughed in my face during the first wave. Therefore I was one of the first to get vaccinated and have been trying to encourage others since I’m still alive. I finally hit my breaking point recently when I needed to sent a cancer patient to get admitted but couldn’t because there were no beds. We did everything we could as an outpatient area and our doctor made calls to everyone he could but the patient had to wait hours in the ER… he was under 30 and recently married. Of course the hospital is full with UNVACCINATED people who made the decision to not believe in science but expect us to use science to cure them. And I can’t even begin to think of the unvaccinated nurses… I hope they all are let go but we are already stressed so those of us who have done the right thing are going to be punished by being even shorter staffed. We loose no matter what. And know they have called in the National Guard… unreal. But your podcast is so uplifting and hilarious and it truly has brought joy to a dark situation. Wishing you nothing but continued success and natural hair growth.
