Hello Rod and Karen,
I noticed a couple of months ago that the self checkout at the BJ and Costco now has the automated system that tells you to “Begin Scanning, Take Your Change,†etc. started loudly saying, “Did you remember to scan the items at the bottom of your cart.†It was an annoyance because it was loud, but I looked at it as a friendly reminder, because I could see someone forgetting something. Once I saw that TikTok about the dangers of self checkout, I realized that this change was not meant as a “friendly reminder,†but rather a way to eliminate an easy “out†for customers who take things be it deliberately or inadvertently. Those box stores are looking to prosecute people now and excuses will no longer be tolerated. My question is percentage wise, what are the demographics of the areas the store that now have that automated message?
I meant to ask this as well, but I accidentally hit “Post Comment.†I also would like to know based on demographics, what areas will those stores be more likely to prosecute offenders, although, it might take more time to get this data.
Macy Gray’s non-apology is more confused and garbled than Akwafina’s blaccent statement. And to your point, Pierce Morgan is the Rush Limbaugh for uptight Midlands Tories. They’re not exactly Macy Gray fans. Her press agent should be fired.

A Mutation doesn’t have to be worse by definition. It’s just different. Can be worse can be milder. The new Mutation seems to be worse on the lungs so that’s not great.
