I got a different person, not Apia, into the show. My bestie boo Bonnie is not as chronically online as I am, so I make sure to clue her in on what’s up.
And even though I am mixed, I know what I look like. I get my White Woman Snow White complex from my white mom, who befriended dangerous animals like a bootleg Steve Irwin. No reason she should have allowed me to bring home a snapping turtle.
Now I’m curious about your family history and I’m not sure if that’s ok.
My hair started turning grey when I was 22 and I felt it was too early for that. Now with my henna, the grey hair is staying brighter so I have natural highlights.
That’s my first step to acceptance.
Recently I started to use a brighter shade of henna to let them stand out more.
I like it.
Btw I was motivated by the show to do a check up with my gynecologist last week and things were all good so far!
