Thank you Rod & Karen for this wonderful in-depth breakdown of this Kendrick vs Drake beef!

Some of those revelations about Drake and the people in his OVO crew are scary asf . I’m specifically speaking on the Baka dude – the details on his case are absolutely horrible. That mess says something ,maybe not everything about Drake’s own character when you look at who he has in his friend/crew group.

And in the latest developments shoutout to somebody on Twitter (@EbonyPrince2k24) posting a video of all the items in the picture that Kendrick used for the cover art and threatening to sue Drake and Akademicks for saying that it wasn’t real and he set Kendrick up with fake stuff . So it’s a No from me sir, I don’t believe you Drake !

Shoutout to Kung Fu Kenny for speaking on this man’s lack of character.

Thanks again Rod & Karen ,

Now the beef is even covered on podcast that normally cover rap.
And I know what’s up thanks to TBGHT.
And at least it’s something that doesn’t make me afraid, because I’m 100% not a rapper and so 0 involved in this conflict.

I saw the timeline for each of the tracks including in this beef even going back to Pusha T and Meg, but I’m a little lost as to why Aubrey decided to go after Kendrick and then egged him on to respond. Honestly I think Aubrey got a little too much dip on his chip going after Kendrick a Pulitzer Prize winner. There was no way he could compete pen for pen because he doesn’t have the range. But I think Aubrey thought he could use comedy lies and internet memes to get people on his side. He didn’t expect Kung Fu Kenny to step on that neck and refuse to get off. I also think he thought Family Matters would be the song to win the beef and in most cases it might have but was completely surprised by Not Like Us. Kendrick beat him at his own game with the club anthem of the summer. And then got the assist from Metro. It’s been one of the most entertaining beefs I’ve ever witness. Take that L Aubrey.

Yeah Mike Tyson knocked him out but they not gonna make a movie . The way Rod said it made me laugh so hard I replayed it 3 times. I really wondered why people cared about dancing and then we got a new #1 bop.

Hey Friends! Thank you for the breakdown of the rap beef. Rod I appreciate you being in your bag on this. It, for me was like getting en extra episode of a manga that, isn’t filler. Or watching a real time documentary. You introduced me to King Willonious this week which is everything. This has been so much fun!!

Also, while I have not researched any of K-dots accusations of Drake related to pedophilia because they sound damning, but if they are true, Drake is horrible person and the culture should deposit his ass elsewhere. Money and “power” often times supersedes humanity and decency which is disappointing, but also an unfortunate part of our western societal condition.

But let me not end on that…because because I have been here for all the rap beef mess, I got my bib on, a shower cap, wet wipes, a change of clothes, and extra napkins like I’m at an all you can eat bbq rib shack crab boil extravaganza!!! Oh give it all to me! It’s been D’licious you hear me?! Keep cooking my guy, keep cooking!

I knew 6:16 in LA was serious when that Al Green sample dropped! It is the favorite out of all the Drake disses. Just the tone of Kendrick was serious on this joint. I loved it!

  8. Calamitus

AL Green, being a man of the Lord, probably didn’t want to publicly cosign this mess and declined the sample for 6:16. But he sure did tweet out the link to his song so he could get a few streams in.

  9. Keva

Well, well, well you finally dragged my 60-something year old self into this mess. Who am I gonna talk to about this? Nobody! My fellow seniors aren’t following this, I don’t have grandkids or kids. I’ve gone over to Spotify to listen to They Ain’t Like Us. I’m gonna go to my next book club meeting wanting to discuss this, not Crying In the H Mart.

Newbie here! These Kendrick analyses are what I needed! Drake can only come back from this if he just goes full white boi racist supremacist! He’ll need to tap into in his white side & just go all in with the racism! He should call that guy “try that shit in a small town” dude & collab on a song with a couple racist ad libs from Candace Owens, Tim Scott & the gang just to stay in the fight! he needs a team & the white people are his best bet & maybe a couple Asians his white supremacist allies are already speaking out to defend him. He should just double double down & do it ‍♀️ and best part is majority of the folks talking is not mentioning Kendrick Lamar they’re only talking about the stuff he said! his hands appear clean this is better that reality tv! Great podcast I’ll be sure to give yall a 5 star review! ❤️✊

Look, I know Rod just loves this beef battle shit. He’s following this like its MCU Phase One but it has already gotten old for me. These are two wealthy famous people arguing like Springer guests. I’m looking forward to moving past this ang getting back to swords and Karen mockery.

    • Mandrake

I mean “Karen” mockery mot Karen mockery. Hope you got that difference.

    • rodimusprime

This isn’t a jukebox. If you’re bothered by it then skip the episode.

      • BBlack

In the immortal words of Beyonce’s husband, ” I’m like, “Fuck critics” you can kiss my whole asshole/If you don’t like my lyrics, you can press fast-forward”.

By the way, I’m posting this comment after hitting pause on the episode to share that I needed to hear that part you mentioned about why Kendrick had a song that featured Kodak Black. It was a useful detail that this content creator on TikTok left out while critising Kendrick.

        Thank you,
