Even a successful revolution in the direction I would like tends to kill lots of innocent people. So please no revolution for me ever, thank you.

I’m super excited to see Kendrick during the halftime Super Bowl show and honestly his big summer hit They Not Like Us probably played a little into his selection but at the end of the day, the city of New Orleans chose him. Plus I’m sure he will put on a good show.
I think it’s funny how all these little Wayne fans have come out the woodwork now when I didn’t hear a peep when the Super Bowl was in New Orleans the last three times. People have been crashing out over this and blaming Jay Z when there are serval people involved in choosing the entertainment. The most pathetic was Nicki Minaj. She’s not beating those coke allegations after her latest Twitter rant. She goes so hard for Wayne and Aubrey when they have never publicly said a peep in defense of her when she was going through her drama. That’s just embarrassing.

I really hope that’s not true about Meagan Good paying Jonathan’s child support. Because if it’s true, he must have the greatest dick game of all time.

I love the way Rod loves Karen. We all just want someone who will listen to us and be ok with us repeating our selves. Never would’ve guess Karen experiences anxiety. She always sounds so strong and forceful! I love when she gets fired up. I be cheering and be like damn I wish she could call such and such for me and tell them about themselves. I too get anxious and it is comforting getting reassurance

I hope the Megan Good rumors aren’t true. Actually I’ve been thinking this whole relationship was a PR move. Johnathan has to be dropping major dick off to get his bills paid.

As a young person I too loved to fist pump about a violent revolution. Do you know how many items I own with Che Guevara’s face plastered on them? I am a sucker for a goodlooking Marxist in a beret. Anyway, I started reading up on that Cuban Revolution, and who am I kidding. Those guys spent months in the jungle moving in secret, barely eating – I won’t even go camping for a weekend! And all those keyboard activists…Ha. I went to Cuba, and the only place you can get cell service was in the fancy international hotel in downtown Havana. Those suburban militants wouldn’t last a week without their iphones. I get it – voting is not sexy. And voting for a realist, who will engage with people you don’t agree with, to get to a solution that is 70% of what you want, isn’t these people’s Ideal. But it is a very young, isolated and immature view of life. And these f-ckers will send us to hell because “good enough” isn’t perfect.

Thank you for the point about the romanticizing of violent revolution. I don’t know if you caught the Gray Area episode with Fareed Zakaria on revolutions, a good case can be made that there’s never been a successful one. Is it Arab Spring? Yes, some leaders of the day got kicked out, but what do we have today? Tunisia where it began voted in a guy who suspends parliament, detains opponents, journos, labor leaders, etc and has changed the constitution back to almost what was in place right before Arab Spring. Egypt similar tale, Iran kicked out a Shah and an Ayatollah replaced him, even a “reformist” president is limited thanks to the powers of the Ayatollah. Ukraine Orange revolution quite different, but still a Putin puppet had to be defeated again by Zielensky. French revolution didn’t prevent Emperor Napoleon and Charles De Gaule… in the end, there’s no happily ever after one revolution. I feel like people push that over voting cause they don’t want to be accountable and just want a magic spell to fix everything. Don’t defend your vote, don’t protect your gains, and it’s lost. That’s even before we get to what are we willing to give for a revolution which when push comes to shove, many aren’t. Voting is far easier friends, revolutionize your minds and my pockets aight brethren!

So. I love all the episodes, and man, I hope I don’t sound toxic but, sorta like when people say “*blank* artist made much better music when they were on drugs…” these rod is high episodes be hittin lol.
