What it do Rod, Karen and J. Jerry Jones,

    I hope all is well.

Jerry Jones being a messy bitch lives for drama is about regular as any other NFL news, but Micah Parsons demanding a trade cuz he’s tired of Jerry playing in his face was *not* something I expected. Especially not since Jerry being all up in the videos and talking crazy about players to the press is how Jerry does business. And it’s clearly frustrating as shit for Parsons.

ESPN bought NFL RedZone from the NFL for 10% equity in ESPN, which the NFL now literally owns part of ESPN. That just feels *weird*.

Thanks as always for the dope shows!

    Peace,

    Dough

Hi Rod, Karen, and Justin Jones,

Breaking news – wrastling is coming to ESPN. What in the actual f-ck. Sports coverage and its media landscape seems to change at breakneck speed. Never did I think WWE would be on this platform, but it makes sense because content is king, and WWE is huge. Bomani had a great episode with Howard Bryant a couple weeks ago about how ESPN and football destroyed the old tentpole sports like baseball, tennis and boxing. On top of it, who is going to be covering this “sport”? I can’t wait until someone shouts over Stephen A. though.

And Jerry Jerry Jerry. This is not how you treat your star player! Stop playing around. Lakers ownership and management may be inept, but we treat our stars well. Did you see what they did after Luka signed his extension? They flew him and some teammates out to see the Back Street Boys concert – because it’s Luka’s favorite boy band! LOL. There’s some cute clips of him and Rob at the concert.

    Anyway stay cool out there!
    Mary

As I clicked the link to register, I thought, I hope he’ll have the show art feature this past week’s WNBA MVP.

    You didn’t disappoint!

To be sure, I’m a WNBA fan and know it’s not cool but I can still laugh.

Great show, per usual. Yeah, my comment about Bron from the email was definitely a joke. I figured the previous email got lost in the Matrix, or you may have forgotten to read it. I just threw in the Bron thing to mess with you. And for the record I’m just like Rod in liking certain cats who others pit against each other in these stupid “debates” on TV and social media. I’ve always been a fan of both MJ and LeBron, and I’ve always been like that with Nas and Jay too. Yes, Nas is my favorite/GOAT, but I have been down with Jay-Z from the jump as well. Just wanted to clear that up if it was needed at all. Aight, I’m out for now. Peace!

I wasn’t able to get this in in time for this week’s episode, but I wanted to shout out the Washington Mystics’ rookie guard Sonia Citron, whom I recently learned is one-quarter Black, on her mother’s side (she is of Cape Verdean and Senegalese descent). No wonder her and teammate Kiki Iriafen get along so well: they’re both African queens!
