When the magnetron spins to create microwave emissions it also causes polarization of ions. These are carried by the waves creating alternating positive and negative surfaces on conductive substances which creates a differential which can cause an arc (sparks). Having an intervening flammable material can result in fires…

In other words, metals in microwaves = sparks, and having it wrapped in paper allows those sparks to cause fires… do be careful, you are too important to lose.

LeBron James is an icon. There aren’t many like him. Like Michael Jordan is an icon. I think that’s where the comparisons come from. There are star athletes but I would argue that they don’t have the same impact on the culture as iconic stars like LeBron. His star power reaches across the globe.
I watch a lot of Asian dramas and there’s a really popular Chinese actor who is arguably one of China’s biggest celebrities. There is a video of him getting so excited over meeting LeBron and signing his jersey. LeBron made that guy’s day. So I’m so glad he still enjoys the game because he has touched people all over the world not only through basketball but how much he’s done for the community.

My biggest issue with 50 cent is that he always has the smoke for black people, particularly black women but never has the same level of vitriol for anyone white. In my opinion he’s a coon. Fuck him.

I don’t watch rality tv, but listen to the “ who? Weekly “ podcast, I recommend, it’s about c celebrities and very fun. The fist feud of 50 cent that I heard about on that educational program was with a very creepy white man.

It had drama, it had creative name calling and jokes and it went for years. . He does go after white man too and this one was even very deserving I creepy gut, mi think. Becasue of my the choice of my cultural intake , it was also the the feud of his I heard most about.

Locked myself out of my house once and had to shimmy in through the living room window.

Oh, the we on social media is a big trick to get rid of responsibility. For example, now I see a lot, documentaries on Netflix about old reality shows like top model ( I don’t watch them but read the descriptions) and how they were so mean to the young women because “ WE” wanted it like that. I never watched even 1 minute of that show or the German version for my medical condition of my brain being unable to consume complete stupidity.
Still I seem to be part of the “ WE” and it’s on me somehow that young pretty women were abused mentally to sell flip phones to the critical watchers at home. I refuse.

Hi Rod and karen, I’m curious if you’re a consumer of marques Brownlee MKBHD YouTube content. He’s a tech reviewer who’s built a massively impactful and thoughtful media company on YouTube with several channels on his creative process, tech products, and tech and culture. One of the channels features his coworkers or employees who all use expert level skills to help him make premium and thoughtful content about tech. In interviews he often talks about how he simply loves making videos and he makes things he would want to watch. The way you describe LeBrons love of the game feels like what I’ve watched marques build over the last ten years. Your reflection on the joy creativity and expertise that’s evident in LeBron, I also see in ppl like MKBHD, Beyonce, and Kendrick. I find most things in the zeitgeist incredibly boring and uninspired these days but creators like these are so inspiring! Even Without the capitalistic success, it’s so dope to watch people do things they’re good at and really hone their voice and craft simply because it fulfills them before any other reason. Also I’m so glad you invented the segment “Black ppl business” cuz I was not planning on listening to all them songs when TI kept dropping them in real time but I DID want to know the mess lol!
