Body issues can really get better and they did with me.
In earlier days, when someone said something hurtful, I took it to myself, felt bad and started a plan how I would loose some weight this time and looked at myself critically .
Now my therapied self can say : this was hurtful, it’s true. It is something about the person saying it and their insecurities and not you, Apia. Your body is good, you take good care of it and it doesn’t matter that it’s not perfect.
I don’t turn against myself just because someone says something hurtful. This was a big gamechanger here.
I still have to do this actively a few times a year, but more and more it comes naturally. Unlearning bad habits takes time.
Nail glue has to do a hard job. It has to hold an artificial nail glued to your natural nail for days, while you are going about your day and doing all kind of hand stuff, wash you hands and so on.
I have gave it jobs when construction glue from the hardware store gave up. My miracle nwul glue costs 3 euros.
