Well it finally looks like Xbox has finally lost their minds. I will say this as a Game Pass member since the beginning and a person who plays their Xbox more than their PS5. I have to say the enshitification of Game Pass sucks. Xbox will increase the price to $30 which is an 50% increase. For now I am keeping my membership but I have to say it feels like Gamepass is on a death spiral. There seem to be too many pitfalls that I don’t think they can recover from. We are supposed to believe that they can deliver 75+ day one games in 2026. Microsoft has been the same company that has canceled games and pushed back games. Look at Perfect Dark which got canceled and Fable which keeps getting pushed back. I also wonder about some of the perks. The Fortnite Crew only gives you 1000 vbucks. Which I don’t play Fortnite but my son said it amounts to an emote in the store. Which doesn’t seem like a good deal. Also you get Ubisoft classic which would be cool until recently. Which brings me to Ubisoft going with the “Klan buys games too” thought process. It sucks that they are like many companies who seem to care more about the potential of racists dollars than the actual money they could make. But curious of yalls thoughts on that?

Hey wonderful gamers.
Wolfenstein, I’m deeply, deeply sorry I stopped playing you. Couple of weeks ago, as I was scrolling Game Pass, I noticed the The New Order being on my hard drive. I know it’s on GP because of Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda & I stopped playing it, due to a section of the game that was giving me fits, which was that area where you travel with these old folks who are trying to get Blazkowicz on a train to infiltrate a prison (the boss section featured robots, but it was a elevator portion of it, trying to sneak pasts Nazis, that caused a bit of frustration but I got over it, recently) & it just made me realize how much fun it is as a single player experience. Quite frankly, it might be one of the best, imo. Long ago before I experienced Wolfenstein, I was really big into EA’s Medal of Honor games from the original game on PS1 to the Saving Private Ryan influenced MOH: Frontline, which presented a big change in visuals, presentation & gameplay. I’m currently near the end of The New Order with the “Fergus Timeline”, which has been a good amount of fun & I’m now eager to explore The Old Blood DLC & eventually everything with the sequel. I heard Youngblood wasn’t looked at well, but once I get through these games, I do want to murk more Nazis with the Blazkowicz sisters.
Read the first couple of issues of the latest Batman run & it’s quite good. Vandal Savage as commissioner is quite something & Bats with his high-tech shit dealing with corrupt cops was interesting. Even the first issues with a mentally-challenged Croc was interesting. Bats nor Croc fought, just Bruce trying to get him back to see his doc. Good read. Absolute Evil issue 1 is just nuts. I won’t spoil that here, you just have to read it to believe it. Blew my mind away.
