    G’Day Nerds,

Sorry Grounded, but the backyard is gonna have to look after itself for a while, because it’s time to put the suit back on & pick up the hose, it’s power washing time.

Nothing like seeing something absolutely filthy & knowing it’s gonna sparkle once I’m done with it lol

I also picked up some new Lego sets including the gameboy, dark millennium Falcon from that rebuild the galaxy show & the gingerbread AT-AT with gingerbread Vader minifigure

    Have a good 1
    Wonga

I went and got Absolute Batman after I heard you all discuss it because I do like the exaggerated look of everything (lol). I was pleasantly surprised by it after I started reading it. Batman fucking up white supremacist? Sign me up.

    Beautiful gamers, how’s life.

Oh Wolfenstein, be still my heart. Really, really, really, dug the pay offs from The New Order & The Old Blood, respectively, and, really enjoying The New Colossus, though, I will say, it feels a little too big for something as simple as killing Nazis, which is always great. Guess I’m a little intimidated by its scope, so far, because you collect shit, return to older levels to kill Ubercommanders (Nigga!), tons of DLC & the characters are even better than the original, which, up, Debra Wilson is killing it in the voice over gaming business. Took her talented Mad TV self & made gold in the gaming world. Otherworldly talent.

Oddly enough, speaking of Otherworldly, I didn’t realize how much I missed the “Living Single” (T. C. Carson) Kratos-era. Now, I’ve played the 2018 game, but I haven’t finished it, but it’s great, but God of War 3 was calling my name like a big ass pack of Starburst. Never played GOW 3, since I went two console cycles without PlayStation hardware & my only way of getting value in its narrative, were YouTube leaks back in the day. Now that I’m playing it, I so missed this era. Not that I want David Jaffe whining & crying about how he hates that the current iteration of Kratos has matured from his Olympus mutilation spree, because I don’t, (grow up, dude) but the scale of that game & its PS2 predecessors are still some of the biggest achievements in gaming, bar none. The boss fights of Hades & Poseidon are epic & I’m only specifying those two, because that’s how far I’ve gotten in the game, so far (I’m currently in the Olympia portion with the head of Helios). Stringing together a 100-hit combo in the swampland of 2025 is going to have to get me through, I swear to god. And I’ve dabbled into GOW: Ascension via PS+ streaming & it’s fine, so far. My algorithm on YouTube was giving me Kratos content & I had to get back into the thick of things with this now 20 year old franchise.

Oh, before I got, y’all knocked that conversation of XBOX Game Pass out of the park like Shohei from the last time. I’m currently paying for the soon-to-be $30 Ultimate & while I have my trepidations about the price, I’m sticking with it, because it’s still a good value.

    That’s all I got. Peace.

    Ahoy y’all,

Everyone, boo Ubisoft for canceling that Assassin’s Creed game. BOOOOOOOOO. The sales on Shadows did alright with despite the pre-launch hate that got. French company, not their fight, whatever. but still boooooo.

5 years ago I started and almost finished the story of cyberpunk 2077 and stopped at the point of no return mission. I don’t know why I do this but when I am close to the end of a game I put it down and come back a month later. With Cyberpunk it was six months before I picked it back up and by then the game changing fix everything update happened and completely changed skill progression. My character’s power tree was reset but I was able to reallocate them to the new layout. I didn’t know what the flark I was looking at and I didn’t feel like learning a whole new system from the top down. I abandoned Cyberpunk that day and went back to Sea of Thieves. I knew that I would play cyberpunk again but not then. Last month I bought Phantom Liberty and I’m back in Liberty City . My abandoned playthrough V was a Outlander and I forget what his power set was, but this go round V is a Corpo with a speedy healing recovery, resistance to damage, adrenaline rush that puts her in a focused rage and sharp claws……..She is Grace Jones the Mantis cutting fools up Logan style. This game is a masterpiece. The end of the first act made me have the feel and I forgot how good the music is integrated into the action. Glad I wasn’t one of the people that requested a refund for it all those years ago.

There was a 99cent sale in the xbox marketplace and I actually found two games that interested me. One was Burger Bistro Story. It is an isosteric viewed 16-bit game where you have to build a sandwich empire from one small store to a few more stores of varying sizes. Unique thing about this game is that you have to create the menu and how the sandwiches are made in your test kitchen and survey if you a re creating tasty sammiches. The second game that was 99 cents was a cozy game called Lemon Cake. It has a simple, almost water color look to it. You own a bakery that you have to upgrade as well as your recipes till the end of time, I guess. I haven’t gotten that far. You do this by baking and selling those good.

Supermarket Simulator. Why is it so addicting? This first person game has you run a grocery store. You start off with a very small store, 8 shelves, a cash register and 50 bucks, and a dream to go to bed at a reasonable hour this time. You order the goods, set the prices, restock the shelve and run the register. Build up your business so you can hire employees and increase the size of the store. Multiplayer is available so you can boss your friends around. “Stay on produce, dang it. I’m not paying you.” I see LFG posts that read like help wanted ads.
I think the actual appeal of the game is the element of organizing everything. Trying to figure out how to make your store appealing and functional for you. The customers are drones so the layout does not matter, but to me the satisfaction of unlocking frozen green beans and being able to put them next to the frozen corn to expand my frozen food selection is pretty satisfying.

EA getting bought by the people that bot the, BOOOOOOOOO.

    Salutations Awesometastic Nerds,

I missed the notification for this recording. However, I’ll still report live from Javits Center. Had a great time with friends of the pod DJ Ben HamMeen (he was dressed as Galactus and his woman Silver Surfer) and Janicia from Tea with Queen and J.

Caught the Running Man panel with Edgar Wright, Glen Powell and Lee Pace. Them’s some good looking men, seeing Empire from Foundation IRL made me realize that it wasn’t just Apple playing tricks on me. They all sang praises of Colman Domingo and how he owned the extras with his presence. I also caught the Cross S2 panel which was apparently filmed along with season 1 and the cast was good at not giving away spoilers. Seeing Aldis Hodge next to Isaiah Mustapha and the rest of the amazing + gorgeous cast was just beautiful (them some tall brothers, who are funny).

Enjoyed Image Comics (have you read Power Fantasy?), Webtoons panel was amazeeeeeeee, and although I couldn’t get into Marvel TV / Animation panel or watch One Punch Man premiere (too full). I still got to hear from Marvel head of TV (Brad Winderbaum) and lead writer of Marvel Zombies on a later panel. They didn’t say that it’s the end for the Zombies story but wouldn’t give anything (they’re good). I missed out on the Marvel Hiphop panel with Nas and artwork by Sanford Greene. By the time I got to his table, a brother bought the last two copies lmao. We just chatted like we do every year. Until 2026, it’s been the Paravai-Kaaran reporting live from NYC!
