Well, I had four days to enjoy my Lakers improbable first round series win before last night’s beatdown. Truthfully, after last Friday’s win, it’s been stress-free playoff basketball watching for me. Even with Luka, we weren’t going to beat the Thunder, and in a weird way, I’m kind of glad AR and Luka were out. If they’d been playing we wouldn’t have gotten those special moments where Lebron reminded everybody who the hell he was. Game 3 was amazing. Strangely, even though he’s the all-time points leader, when I think of Lebron’s greatest career moments, it’s not scoring. The two calls are: “Blocked by James!” – his block on Iggy in Game 7 of the 2016 Finals and “Bronny James!…From his dad” – when he ooped to his kid in Game 3 2026. Amazing career. So glad to witness it.
