I hope all is well.
Spurs vs Knicks NBA Finals are gonna be *big fun*. Big Vic is the sociopath the league’s been missing; buddy said the league belongs to him and damnit if it don’t at this point. And then there are the Knicks, who validated firing Thibs by hiring Money Mike Brown, who actually used KAT the way KAT likes to play? It feels like a celebration of a fun season to have these 2 teams in the Finals, especially after all there negative discourse throughout the season. Comparing the NBA to the Democratic Party cuz of their Blackness proximity was a bar, Rod.
And props to SGA for that Game 7 where OKC’s whole offense had to run through him and he even talked up Chet after the game in an honest yet respectful way after Vic hunted that Chet like Freddy *and* Jason at the same damn time! And again, Victor’s leadership turning the Spurs into a “Fuck OKC as a staff, record label and crew” Voltron was amazing to see. Vassell’s final dunk matched the negativity Wemby had on those 30 foot logo jumpers.
And how Wemby feels about Chet and OKC is how I feel about that James Harden diasterpiece Eastern Conference Finals. Why bring a 2 pack of ass when you can stop by Harden’s bakery for a rack of rich and maddening turnovers? And Kenny Atkinson saying the Cavs analytically won 2 outta 3 games should’ve gotten him called a “dork” and fired in the same comic sans letter. Donovan Mitchell balled his ass off all season and he was delightful to watch.
Joe Thomas is considered one of the greatest left tackles in NFL history. His first season Cleveland went 10-6 and his final season they went 0-16. I guess the Browns learned they should trade future hall of famers before they retire? Props to the Rams on the trade and I wish the Garrett the best in LA (unless they play the Bears).

Cue up the song — Rod was right! You were so right about experience being overindexed. Even Wemby addressed this later when he said the lack of experience was a strength. I’m so excited about the arrival about this superstar. Someone who fucking cares and isn’t afraid to show it. Anyway, as to the Thunder…we thought it was a dynasty in the making but turns out it wasn’t. Do you think they stay put and just add through the draft or do you see some big moves for them? I’m torn about whether they need to make a big move, or like Caruso said they had a chance to win the game, and maybe if they’re just healthier. What do you think? Thanks for all the great shows!
