When I heard that story of a man strangling a woman over not getting a promotion I was so sure it was some mediocre white man shenanigans until I heard his name. I think my racist meter has been off lately.
Ticketmaster is basically following the Amazon model, start off by running at a loss while fueled by investments, then decrease service and increase prices! Uber, same deal, run off the competition and then jack the prices! Netflix? It’s so common that a term has been coined for it, Enshitification!
If only more courts would adequately apply laws to prevent this type of illegal business practice…
